About EGuruz, a WordPress web design studio

A studio that grew out of a simple annoyance: good businesses, bad websites.

We’re not going to tell you we’re passionate about digital transformation. We’re a small WordPress studio that builds fast, well-structured websites in Elementor — and looks after them once they’re live.

Our story

How EGuruz actually started

EGuruz started with WordPress projects for local businesses — and a lot of rescue jobs. Again and again we found sites that were slow, overloaded with plugins, hard for the owner to update, and quietly holding the business back in search results.

So we built the studio around fixing exactly that. We design and build WordPress websites in Elementor, keep them lean and fast, develop them with SEO in mind, and offer maintenance so they stay that way. Most clients bring their own content or work with an SEO agency; when someone needs help with writing, we can provide SEO content on request.

We’re still a small team by choice. Every project is handled by the same people from discovery through launch and support, which is the only way we know to keep quality consistent.

Mission

Build websites that do real work — and keep working.

Our job is to give a business a website that brings in enquiries, loads quickly on any device, is easy for the team to update, and stays secure and healthy long after launch.

Vision

Fewer businesses stuck with sites that embarrass them.

We’d like it to be unusual for a small or mid-sized business to be quietly ashamed of its own website. That means holding a standard on speed, clarity, and build quality that doesn’t depend on the client’s budget being enormous.

Our approach

Four habits that shape every project.

A

Structure before style

We won’t discuss colours until we’ve agreed on the sitemap and what each page needs to accomplish. Style decisions made before structure ones tend to get rebuilt anyway.

B

Design never waits for content

We build layouts with placeholder text, so the project keeps moving. When your final content arrives — from your team, your SEO agency, or from us on request — we drop it in and check every page.

C

Custom where it earns its keep

We reach for a custom Elementor widget only when the standard set genuinely can’t do the job — not to pad the invoice. Simpler is often faster to load and easier to maintain.

D

Two rounds of revisions, not endless ones

Open-ended revision cycles are how projects drag on for months. We build in two structured review rounds — enough to get things right without losing momentum.

Values

What we actually hold ourselves to.

01

Straight answers

If a timeline slips or a request doesn’t make sense for your goals, we’ll say so before we take your money, not after.

02

Ownership of the outcome

We measure a project by whether it works after launch, not by whether it looked good in the final presentation.

03

Respect for your time

Meetings have an agenda, emails get answered promptly, and we don’t ask you to repeat context we should already have.

04

Craft over shortcuts

We’d rather take an extra day to build something properly than ship something that needs redoing in six months.

Design philosophy

Design that explains the content, not decoration on top of it.

We treat layout the way a draftsman treats a working drawing — every line has to justify its place on the page. That means restrained colour palettes, generous white space, and typography chosen for how it reads on a phone at night, not just how it looks in a mockup.

We stay away from stock photography and generic illustration. Where a page needs a visual, we’d rather build something specific to what you do — a diagram, a simple pattern, a custom icon — than use the same handshake photo every other business site uses.
